ABOUT KELLY MACKIN

Kelly Mackin is the author of Work Life Well-Lived, and co-founder and CEO of the Motives Met Platform, which includes actionable tools like the Motives Met Human Needs Assessment and Human Connection software to empower people to create their best work life and workplace. Kelly’s journey from ill-being to well-being at work ignited her passion for helping people create health and happiness in their lives through a unique blend of skills.

LET’S CONNECT

As a quantitative researcher of human behavior, she gains insights into significant parts of life like values, stress, and emotions to develop frameworks to better understand the world and ourselves to make positive change. A forever student of learning about our human brains and the science of how we think, she is an accredited mind management, psychological safety, and cognitive behavioral therapy coach. She also draws on her experience as a meditation teacher to use mindfulness-based practices to improve life in our modern world in and outside of work. In her coaching practice, she helped her clients with anxiety, burnout prevention, and mindset training.

 

Kelly’s mission is to create a human work world where ill-being is a thing of the past. She built Motives Met to achieve the attainable dream of a work life well-lived for all. When asked about her proudest moments, Kelly would tell you it was standing at the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa and at Mount Everest Base Camp. Hailing from sunny San Diego, California, you can often find her soaking up a sunset, playing beach volleyball, or sparring in the boxing ring.
